Our Plus Series offers amplifier transformers for general replacement, upgrades and additional features such as international voltage taps. These are still manufactured using the same fine construction methods and premium materials as our Vintage series transformers. Some may require chassis modifications...see specifications for details.

Description: Great vintage era type constructed, paper layer wound output transformer! Incredible output transformer for JCM 800** and JMP** type amplifiers. Due to the great tonal qualities of paper layer wound transformers, these can be considered upgrades to the many nylon bobbin wound versions currently available on the market. These are upright mounted transformers. These may be used as a general replacement / upgrade output transformer for original amps. They can also be used to modify existing Marshall* style amps including the Chinese made Bugera 1960 as well as others. You can swap out the cheaper nylon bobbin wound, Chinese transformer for our paper layer wound upgrade output transformer for a truly great tonal upgrade! Chassis mounting hole modification may be required for some original and upgrade applications.

Not all distributors or resellers are alike! Many offer various other brands besides ClassicTone. Beware of these substitutes! These may be substandard products that are not true replacements, use inferior construction methods and materials and lack the great features and pricing of our ClassicTone transformers. We are proud to announce Amp Parts Direct and Triode Electronics exclusively features our great product line.
Order Minimums & Sales Terms: For the higher quantities of 25 pieces or more of our catalog items (25 piece minimum per item), please contact us directly to purchase. For the smaller quantities of 1 to 24 pieces of our catalog items, please contact our distributors, Amp Parts Direct and/or Triode Electronics to purchase. Also, please contact us directly with your custom requirements. We typically require a minimum of 25 pieces per item on custom requirements but this may vary depending on the size of the unit you required. OEM's only for direct orders. Reseller number may be required. Pricing subject to change without notice. Orders are Non Cancelable / Non Returnable. Cost of shipping is not included. We ship UPS prepaid and add to the invoice or UPS freight collect. For shipments with a final destination within the continental USA, the cost of UPS shipping plus insurance is added only. Other destinations may require shipping / handling charges due to special packaging and/or processing requirements.
Warranty: We supply a 1 year warranty for defects from the date code marked on transformer. We will not replace, supply credit or refunds, etc. unless the transformer is actually proved to be defective. Therefore, please verify that all specifications are appropriate for your application before you purchase our transformers. Also, this warranty applies only if purchased directly from us. If you believe you have a defective transformer that is ours but purchased from a distributor, reseller, etc, you must contact them directly and their warranty policies will apply. If you believe you have received a defective transformer directly from us, you must contact us for a return authorization number. At which time, you will be required to return the transformer. You will be responsible for the cost of freight to return the item. We reserve the right at our option to either repair, replace, issue a credit or supply a refund if the item is verified defective by us only. Warning!: Transformers should always be installed by a professional electronics technician since there are high voltages involved and may result in physical harm to yourself, the transformer and/or your equipment if installed incorrectly. We will not be responsible for any types of damages incurred as a result of a defective transformer or an incorrect installation of a transformer. Also, we will not be responsible for a transformer failure that is a result of your incorrect installation. By placing an order with us, you thereby accept all terms and conditions.
Payment Terms: Cash In Advance is required on order values under $1000.00 if you do not have established credit with us. Net 30 day open account credit terms may be established but requires the receipt of a purchase order with a total value of at least $1000.00 and you must also provide your Dun & Bradstreet number for a credit check at that time. Open account terms are pending our review and approval of your Dun & Bradstreet credit report only.
